Artistic Stress

 This art competition will bring light to the stresses that we all face daily. We ask that you create an art piece related to any aspect of stress, whether it be what you think stress is, what stress makes you feel like, etc. The winner will receive a cash prize. 1st will receive $200, 2nd will receive $100, and 3rd place will receive $50

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. The first step is to register by

    October 31st, 2019  (which can be found above.)


  2. After filling out the form, please read the restrictions below before beginning/submitting your art piece.


  3. Submit a picture of your art piece along with material you may want us to supply at the event in order for you to successfully display your art piece before the deadline which is the end of the day November 6, 2019

    via the button below. (This is just to check if your art piece meets the restrictions, you still have to bring your finished art piece to the event). We apologize in advance if we are not able to provide all the materials you request, but we will have tables, walls, and command tape for basic set up.                                                                                                                

  4. Bring your art piece at 12 PM on December 7th to the outside area of Academy of the Canyons to set up your art piece and take down your art piece at 4:30 PM the same day​. If you only submit via a picture, your art piece will not be officially submitted into the competition.      

(We are not liable if your art piece becomes damaged during, before, or after the event)

  • Sadly no performance arts, but all other art forms are welcomed



  • One art submission per person

In the event there are too many applicants, we will collect all of the submissions and do a randomized computer-generated lottery.
